This is the way it started:
A veterinarian, Kristina Forslund, contacted the famous author of childrenīs books, Astrid Lindgren, and together they started to campaign for a better life for farm animals. The debate started the 22nd of September 1985.
newsbill says: "Astrid
alarms today: SWEDISH
ANIMALS ARE TORTURED.
DO NOT BUY THE MEAT."
That is how Astrid Lindgren
achieved enactment of the
1988 law protecting farm
animals in Sweden,
The Law changed during 1998 and
the hens will stay in the cages.
